Winter Quarter
❄️ Week 2: Updates and Events ❄️
Hello MEMObers! We hope this message finds everyone safe and well, especially in light of the recent LA fires. Our thoughts are with everyone affected by these events, and we recognize how challenging this time may be for many. Please remember to prioritize your safety, stay informed through reliable updates, and don’t hesitate to reach out if you need assistance or support!
As we transition into the Winter Quarter, here are a few things to expect from MEMO in the upcoming weeks.
General Meetings
Our time and location for general meetings have changed since last quarter! They will now be held in Ackerman on Thursdays, 5PM-6PM, of every even week of the quarter.
WHEN: Every other Thursday, 5PM-6PM
WHERE: Ackerman Union (updates on the exact location will be on our Instagram, @ucla_memo)
GM 1 (1/23): Postponed to Week 3
Due to the ongoing fire situation, we have decided to postpone our first general meeting to next Thursday of Week 3. Please stay safe and take care during this time!
WHEN: 5PM-6PM Thursday, January 23rd
WHERE: Ackerman Union
General Updates
16G Vietnam Mission Trip
If you applied for MEMO’s Vietnam Mission Trip in the summer, you can expect to hear about whether you qualify for the interview process (and further details) by the end of today.
Additionally, if you have concerns about financial support for the mission trip, you can apply to MEMO’s CARE Scholarship Program, which can fully fund your participation in the mission trip. The deadline for the CARE scholarship application is January 19th, 11:59PM, so be sure to apply by then!

Mentorship Program
Our Mentorship Program will begin this quarter, YAY! Stay tuned to discover your mentor/mentee pairing!
