GM 3— Health Career Workshop

For this Thursday’s GM we’ll be hosting a Healthcare Career Workshop, where you can explore the different career paths in healthcare and the requirements needed to pursue different specialty graduate programs.

Squid Game: Winter Interchapter Social

Meet and compete with others from the other MEMO chapters (UCSD, UCI, USC) through this winter’s interchapter social, hosted by UCLA and USC!

Welcome to WINTER ICS: SQUID GAME EDITION, where the competition is fierce, and not everyone will make it to the end. Join us at Dockweiler Beach for a series of thrilling challenges where only the strongest, smartest, and luckiest will survive! 🌊🏖️ Test your skills, outlast the competition, and fight to stay in the game—because here, eliminations are real.

Do you have what it takes to make it to the final round? The choice is yours… but only those who RSVP will get their chance to play. ⏳

Sponsorship Run Event: March 1st

Develop your communication skills and bond with fellow MEMObers beyond UCLA’s chapter at M.E.M.O’s upcoming sponsorship run happening Saturday, March 1st!

Annually and as a collaborative effort, UCI, UCSD, USC and UCLA MEMO host a Sponsorship Run in Orange County in order to ask businesses for sponsorships and donations. All proceeds will go towards our annual Open Our Hearts Gala in April, as well as our local community philanthropies in OC, LA, and SD counties, such as organizing free health fairs, providing educational assistance (e.g., Project S.H.U.E.), and purchasing supplies for Project Awaken.

Participating in this event is required for 16G Members!

Project Angel Food: 3/16 Sign-ups

MEMO's upcoming Outreach Event, Project Angel Food, will take place Sunday, March 16th, from 8:15AM-12:00PM, not including transportation time! This event is a great opportunity to gain service hours as you prepare medically tailored meals for vulnerable people facing critical and life-threatening illnesses.

16G Donation Drive

Before embarking on our 16G medical mission trip to Vietnam, MEMO is asking for any donations of essential items that will help improve the lives of people in need. We will be doing a donation drive to collect toys 🧸 , clothing 👕, shoes 👟, etc. to donate to children in the orphanages that we will be visiting.

Please fill out the google form in our instagram linktree if you have lightly used/new toys 🚂🪀 or clothes, or know people you can reach out to who can donate.
