Active Membership Requirements

1. Attend 3 out of 5 general meetings (every quarter)

2. Attend at least 1 outreach/ service event

3. Attend at least 1 social/ fundraiser

4. Pay a $10 Club Membership Fee. This includes a free MEMO T-shirt that could be worn to events!

5. (RECOMMENDED): Attend nonprofit/ inter-chapter events

If you haven’t already, make sure to fill out this form if you would like to be an active MEMOber! Applications are open year-round, but the earlier you join, the earlier you can volunteer with us <3

Porto’s Fundraiser 🥐 POSTPONED TO WK 8!

Craving Porto’s pastries but not able to drive to a nearby location? Worry no more as MEMO has your back 😁🫶 We will be selling super yummy cheese rolls, guava rolls, and potato balls at our next fundraiser!

Shifts will be available for volunteers to sign-up as well, link could be found HERE.
**NOTE: The Porto’s Fundraiser has been moved to Thursday of Week 8

WHEN: Thursday, May 21st, from 11am-4pm
WHERE: BruinWalk (check our insta @ucla_memo on the day of for the specific location!)

[MEMO x Lestonnac] DREAM Center Clinic Medical Assistant (MA) Program 🏥 

Interested in gaining clinical experience this Spring & Summer? Lestonnac Free Clinic has once again given MEMO the opportunity to volunteer as a back/ front office medical assistant at their clinic in Los Angeles to provide medical care for low-income communities. Volunteers will be required to commit to at least 7 shifts on a biweekly basis and must not miss more than 2 shifts in one rotation. Note: your shift may happen during finals, so keep this in mind before applying!

WHEN: Fridays: 9:00 AM - 1:00 PM biweekly. (Transportation is not guaranteed)
WHERE: 626 Coronado Terrace, Los Angeles, CA 90026

Upcoming Service Events 💌 

Great Food Soup Kitchen 🥑 

GET READY!! We are excited to announce that we will be volunteering with the Great Food Soup Kitchen at St. James Episcopal Church once again! You will have the opportunity to help support low-income neighbors & people experiencing homelessness. Volunteers will have the chance to assist in making and serving nutritious meals for the underserved through this service event! Don’t hesitate to sign up if you want to channel those cooking skills too 🧑‍🍳 🥕
