Active Membership Requirements
Attend 3 out of 5 general meetings (every quarter)
Attend at least 1 outreach/ service event
Attend at least 1 social/ fundraiser
Pay a $10 Club Membership Fee. This includes a free MEMO T-shirt that could be worn to events!
(RECOMMENDED): Attend nonprofit/ inter-chapter events
If you haven’t already, make sure to fill out this form if you would like to be an active MEMOber! Applications are open year-round, but the earlier you join, the earlier you can volunteer with us <3
JOIN OUR GROUPME!
We created a new GroupMe for the 2025-26 academic year. We encourage you all to join to gain access to important MEMO updates or ask any questions you may have!
GM 4 — Crafting with Care 🫂 💝
Join us at our upcoming GM for Crafting with Care, an evening of creativity, compassion, and community! Together, we will be coloring cheerful pages to donate to Color-A-Smile, a nonprofit that distributes uplifting drawings to senior citizens, troops overseas, and anyone in need of a smile. 😊 We’ll also be making pipe cleaner flowers 💐 and colorful beaded bracelets 💌 to donate to local hospitals and nursing homes, bringing comfort to children and patients with dementia.
No artistic experience is needed. Just come ready to relax, create, and help spread care one craft at a time!
WHEN: Thursday, February 26th, @ 6-7 PM
WHERE: Mathematical Sciences Building - Room 5225
*Note that our GM this week will be in a different room from our typical GMs!

California Pizza Kitchen (CPK) Fundraiser 🍕
We’re raising dough… and it’s not just for the pizza! Feeling hungry after our general meeting this Thursday? Join us at California Pizza Kitchen all day on 02/26 for a slice and a good cause. Remember to mention MEMO when you dine in or use the code BACK20% for online orders. 18th Annual Gala Volunteer Sign-Ups 👯
It is with our utmost delight to announce MEMO’s 18th Annual Open Our Hearts Gala ♥️✨ The Open Our Hearts Gala is MEMO’s biggest fundraising event of the year, and volunteers play an essential role in bringing this enchanting night to life. We have a variety of volunteer positions available, so don’t hesitate to sign up if you are interested in contributing to this meaningful evening! Winter ICS – Hosted by UCLA & USC MEMO 🥳
Something magical is in the air… it’s time for 2026 Winter ICS! ❄️ The air is crisp, and it’s the perfect time for a study break with your favorite MEMObers from all the sister chapters! Sponsorship Committee Interest Form 💵
Want to see how MEMO works behind the scenes? We’re looking for members to join our Sponsorship Committee. This is a great way to support our humanitarian missions and help us get ready for GALA. This committee is flexible and non-binding. You can help as much as your schedule allows without a heavy commitment!
As a committee member, you’ll get to work directly with the boards of different chapters, the Board of Directors (BOD), and our advisors. It’s a perfect chance to build your network and see our philanthropy in action!

Garden Grove Veterans Lestonnac Health Fair 🏥
MEMO has partnered up with Lestonnac Free Clinic (LFC) once again to provide medical care for low-income communities! Possible volunteer role(s) include vision acuity tests, frame selection for readers and prescription glasses, lens cutting/selection, dental scribing, dental suctioning, and more. Project Awaken 🌸
Join us for fun, hands-on arts and crafts activities with senior residents! Project Awaken is a program designed to build personal connections with seniors living at Mom and Dad’s House locations. Each month, MEMO volunteers will lead a one-hour arts and crafts session with residents, creating a warm and engaging environment. MEMObers can connect with socially isolated residents, provide meaningful interaction, and help brighten their day. Sign-ups can be found HERE!
